Hello, my name is Stacey. Until a few years ago, my only experience of the law was watching crime shows on TV, that all changed one day when I was called for jury duty by the local court. I was pretty excited to get to take part in a legal trial, but I was also a little afraid that I wouldn't understand the law or the complex legal terms used. Thankfully, the judge was really good at making sure we felt comfortable and understood what was going on. Being on a jury sparked my interest in criminal law, and I have since read a lot of books and learnt a lot of things. I decided to start this blog so that I could share some of my knowledge with the rest of the world.
